In the 5th minute, Faustino Luar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Del Kllejon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Los Del Kllejon FC booed when Los Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Luar in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Doug Bermudez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Venancio Geleberto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Los Diablos Rojos's Rogelio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Sundin in the 15th minute of play. Doug Bermudez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Geleberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Rojos's Abelardo Bortzaioriz got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rogelio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Los Del Kllejon FC got a corner. Los Diablos Rojos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remigio Bizi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rogelio Barbosa came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Del Kllejon FC's Algot Sundin. But to his dismay, Algot Sundin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 30th minute Algot Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Gumaro in the 33rd minute of play forced Los Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Rogelio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siegfried Knubel took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Barbosa. Rogelio Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Rogelio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Doug Bermudez scored 1-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Geleberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Diablos Rojos's Javier Jaunzuria got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Los Del Kllejon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Di Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. Los Del Kllejon FC made a substitution. Adrian Lopez replaced Samuel Toli. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raí Catarinense made a kick off. 57 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Los Del Kllejon FC's Algot Sundin fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 62 minutes into the game, Ismael Gumaro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rogelio Barbosa. Ismael Gumaro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. When Los Del Kllejon FC's Abel Normando in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Diablos Rojos's goalie prevented a goal. Los Del Kllejon FC played a much better game than Los Diablos Rojos and deserved their victory. The Los Diablos Rojos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
