The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lázaro Cefero scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Mincho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Lázaro Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Mincho made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Lázaro Cefero sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goalkeeper Iker Mincho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Mónos. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kang Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvarado de Mar del Plata were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Marno F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lennie Buckler took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lennie Buckler got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aldo Beltxe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute, Jakub Brabec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Igor Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Mincho made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gabriel Mónos sent off a good shot on target. Lennie Buckler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Beltxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Lázaro Cefero was slow to take the kick. During this time Marno F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Daniel Ghițescu was substituted for Rolando Hodei. Marno F.C. were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Alvarado de Mar del Plata's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lázaro Cefero took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Jokin to strike the kick off in the second half. Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Marno F.C. from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Valiente struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Iker Mincho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marno F.C.. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Lennie Buckler got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Vincent got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mariano Verón. In the 94thth minute of the game Zeledon Valiente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Iker Mincho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Daniel Ghițescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
