The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Neto got free with Aldo Beltxe in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute Gastres FC were awarded a corner. Benjamin Neto went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 7th minute, Zacarias Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Marno F.C. from getting a goal against them. Geronimo Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Marno F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Mónos. Gabriel Mónos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Ongile having to interfere. In the 27th minute Igor Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Beltxe made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Benjamin Neto sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Mónos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Jokin made a kick off. Geronimo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Cefero in the 51st minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Teobaldo Belmiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gastres FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Lech Mleczewski replaced Gabriel Mónos. Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Valiente was substituted for Zeledon Victoro. Aldo Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Geangu in the 66th minute of the match. Geronimo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Valiente, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Valiente during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zeledon Valiente hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Marno F.C.'s Doni Guedes was substituted for Igor Jokin. After 72 played minutes Marno F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Valiente. In the 73rd minute of the match Calistrat Geangu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Beltxe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aldo Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 88 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Valiente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Ongile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Marno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Butler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gastres FC's Edgardo Javiar was substituted for Benjamin Neto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Belmiro in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Beltxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gastres FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
