Gerardo Edur started the match with the kick off. The Gastres FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Gastres FC's Benjamin Neto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calistrat Geangu in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germán Burgos saved U21 Totoras F.C. from getting behind. When Augusto Dalmu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Totoras F.C.'s protests and gave Augusto Dalmu a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Dalmu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Germán Burgos came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Gastres FC's Mathieu Koning. But to his dismay, Mathieu Koning quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute Calistrat Geangu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Burgos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germán Burgos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Edur in the 24th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Claus took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germán Burgos. Germán Burgos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. David Jesco hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 36th minute of play forced U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalkeeper Germán Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Totoras F.C.'s zone, Teobaldo Belmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germán Burgos came out of the goal and Teobaldo Belmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germán Burgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Claus in the 42nd minute of the match. Germán Burgos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Geangu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Ongile made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Edmondo Sarnelli sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Belmiro was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, U21 Totoras F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Neto came free, but Germán Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germán Burgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Belmiro in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalkeeper Germán Burgos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmondo Sarnelli charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmondo Sarnelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Edmondo Sarnelli got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Germán Burgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Geangu in the 66th minute of play. Germán Burgos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 70th minute. Sixto Socorro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. U21 Totoras F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Belmiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Teobaldo Belmiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 84th playminute. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Germán Burgos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 87th minute of play. Germán Burgos made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Teobaldo Belmiro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Calistrat Geangu hit a great ball.
