The Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aldo Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 20th minute of play. Alfredo Joey was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Cefero in the 45th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Marno F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
