In the 7th minute, Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Jumancă in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute Marin Jumancă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Huckebein's zone, Herbert Pracki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Santxol came out of the goal and Herbert Pracki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Herbert Pracki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Apolo Santxol. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Apolo Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Pracki in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a corner. Huckebein's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carroll Mansfield ran over to the corner to take the kick. Huckebein's Apolo Santxol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Huckebein from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Herbert Pracki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Apolo Santxol. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Jumancă in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Cumhur Günay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huckebein's Remigio Dolcet managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anibal Misael in the 40 minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Marin Jumancă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Huckebein's Marin Jumancă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogério Ceni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

Belgrano LOS PIRATAS made a substitution. Guillermo Frank replaced Esteve Garin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marin Jumancă was the one to do the kick off. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Jumancă, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Jumancă in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Cumhur Günay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Herbert Pracki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Jumancă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Marin Jumancă made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Huckebein's Alvaro Perez was substituted for Gwidon Augustyn. In the 65th minute Herbert Pracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Hartz was substituted for Herbert Pracki. A sloppy throw-in by Remigio Dolcet in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Cumhur Günay. After having played for 93 minutes, Teodoro Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Hartz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
