In the 16thth minute of the game Qu Sen Yan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Anastasio Rito in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rebentala FC's Daniel Laffitte. Hazım Cilasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mickaël Landreau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remzi İçten made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Michael Owen sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Rebentala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Qu Sen Yan came free, but Remzi İçten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Atlético Montserrat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Skröder to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Montserrat's zone, Patricio Pelayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With a little luck, Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten got control of the ball when Zula Jajesniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Rebentala FC's goalkeeper Remzi İçten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Owen. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 崔光笑 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remzi İçten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qu Sen Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Atlético Montserrat's 崔光笑 managed to work through Rebentala FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. 崔光笑 dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 86 minutes into the match, Rebentala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Qu Sen Yan came free, but Remzi İçten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Atlético Montserrat's 崔光笑 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remzi İçten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Montserrat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rebentala FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
