Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 5th minute of the match. The Arroyito FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Arroyito FC's Gabriel-Omar Santirso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Melquiades Mambru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel-Omar Santirso's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya got control of the ball when Paulo Eguen tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Mambru saved MORPH from getting behind. Melquiades Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Paulo Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MORPH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Eguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Navarro Montoya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Eguen's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Gabriel-Omar Santirso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MORPH's Melquiades Mambru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Gabriel-Omar Santirso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel-Omar Santirso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MORPH's zone, Gabriel-Omar Santirso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal and Gabriel-Omar Santirso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, MORPH's Paulo Eguen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Navarro Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Eguen came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Paulo Eguen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya. Carlos Navarro Montoya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Eguen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Carlos Navarro Montoya made a huge save. 41 minutes into the game, Basarab Trif was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arroyito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MORPH the free kick. The supporters of MORPH booed when Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Trif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basarab Trif hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Paulo Eguen made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Eguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Arroyito FC defense, Paulo Eguen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Navarro Montoya. The Arroyito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Navarro Montoya should have stopped the shot. Paulo Eguen struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Carlos Navarro Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MORPH. Carel Rokeloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Carlos Navarro Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Peter Rubi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Zhi Lin came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match, Miroslav Kvita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Mambru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Zhi Lin in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arroyito FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anastasio Lluques was slow to take the kick. During this time MORPH's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Carel Rokeloos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Navarro Montoya was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carel Rokeloos in the 93rd minute of play forced Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carel Rokeloos took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Navarro Montoya. Carlos Navarro Montoya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Carlos Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carel Rokeloos in the 96th minute of play. Arroyito FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
