Candelaria FC's Gregorio Elixio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anastasio Lluques in the 10 minute of the game. Okanalp Özdil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Mambru having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Anak Agung Agafonnikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Mambru made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Okanalp Özdil sent off a good shot on target. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save MORPH from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Okanalp Özdil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MORPH's Zeledon Dorio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marciano Lekubegi, made in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the game, Christian Gómez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MORPH the free kick. Christian Gómez kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MORPH's zone, Okanalp Özdil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal and Okanalp Özdil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Okanalp Özdil came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Eguen to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Okanalp Özdil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candelaria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The Candelaria FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while MORPH had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
