In the 13th minute of the match MORPH got a corner. Alvi Boton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anastasio Lluques ran over to the corner to take the kick. Celedonio Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 22 minutes Alvi Boton's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anastasio Lluques who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd match minute, Alvi Boton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Chinto to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Carel Rokeloos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso. Afonso Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of MORPH booed when Alvi Boton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Emiliano Berdaitz made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Veloso. Alvi Boton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 39th minute, Carel Rokeloos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MORPH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Afonso Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carel Rokeloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Chinto was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Emiliano Berdaitz took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Afonso Veloso to make any attempt to save it. Teo Paez hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. MORPH made a substitution. Isidro Lano replaced Celedonio Esquipula. MORPH made a substitution. Delmar Udalaitz replaced Emiliano Berdaitz. After 58 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Teo Paez. A collision led to MORPH getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eustacio Etxepare hit a great ball. Melquiades Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Alvi Boton's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Eguen came free, but Afonso Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Paulo Eguen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afonso Veloso. The goal made the score 0-6. Afonso Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Udalaitz in the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Eguen in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Veloso saved Alvi Boton from getting behind. When MORPH's Paulo Eguen in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alvi Boton's goalie prevented a goal. The corner ended in Bernt Drake almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso did a great save. Afonso Veloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Eguen's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Delmar Udalaitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Afonso Veloso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th minute of the match MORPH got a corner. Alvi Boton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anastasio Lluques ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidro Lano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Veloso. That made the score 0-7 in the 79 minute of play. With a little luck, Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso got control of the ball when Isidro Lano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidro Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Afonso Veloso made a huge save.
