In the 24th minute, Judas Verón reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomás Bonifaco. The goal made the score 2-0. Tomás Bonifaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Judas Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tomás Bonifaco made a huge save. Tomás Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 39th minute of play. Bernardo Raggio had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Okanalp Özdil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Belgrano de Pibasog defense, Okanalp Özdil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Raggio. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Raggio should have stopped the shot. Clemente Gaizkine hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Marciano Lekubegi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Okanalp Özdil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute Okanalp Özdil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Bart Pellen replaced Jefferson de Sena. Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Marquez was substituted for Okanalp Özdil. Belgrano de Pibasog's Melquiades Henrico was substituted for Justino Frederico. Candelaria FC's Sven-Olof Sjöberg was substituted for Antonio Alzamendi. Clemente Gaizkine made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Silvio Abadia. 58 minutes into the game, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Bonifaco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With a little luck, Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio got control of the ball when Arnaldo Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Judas Verón struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Tomás Bonifaco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Judas Verón in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Bonifaco saved Candelaria FC from getting behind. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 73rd minute of play. Arnaldo Marquez in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardo Raggio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca was substituted for Judas Verón. Belgrano de Pibasog's Pawel Grabowicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sabastian Rodriguez, made in the 77th minute of the game. Candelaria FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
