The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquin Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A hard shot by Julian Hulberto from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Rodolfo Calvet's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rodolfo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Kusko in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Miguel Ángel Gambier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Isaio's shot from long distance in the 26th minute was not bad at all, but Academia de Campeones's Rodolfo Calvet knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Rodolfo Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Kusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to A.F Cuervos Azulgranas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Anier Seme hit a great ball. After 41 minutes of play, Academia de Campeones's Kermit Froggaard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Manilan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Miguel Ángel Gambier made the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Manilan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Ángel Gambier in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute Kai Havertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Justino Kusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Kusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Academia de Campeones made a substitution. Zachariasz Orszak replaced Kermit Froggaard. With a little luck, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Eriberto Manilan got control of the ball when Miguel Ángel Gambier tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Leonardo Cositorto made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Calvet was left in no man's land by his defense there!
