A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Fidele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9thth minute of the game Justino Kusko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelco FC's Saverio Fidele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Eriberto Manilan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 13th minute, Flavio Profeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Hökqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Chelco FC were awarded a corner. Flavio Profeta went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Baldomero Rufio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 25 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Kusko came free, but Saverio Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goalkeeper Eriberto Manilan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torbjörn Hökqvist. In the 29th minute Torbjörn Hökqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Flavio Profeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Julian Hulberto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Torbjörn Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Hökqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eriberto Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Hökqvist in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Hökqvist came free, but Eriberto Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Kusko got free with Saverio Fidele in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute of the match, Torbjörn Hökqvist sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Eriberto Manilan showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. After 62 played minutes A.F Cuervos Azulgranas got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Rodriguez. Chelco FC's Amado Travieso was substituted for Godofredo Ugutz. Gonzalo Rodriguez hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Chelco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Frasquito to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Manilan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Chelco FC's Torbjörn Hökqvist in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The A.F Cuervos Azulgranas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Manilan should have stopped the shot. The supporters of A.F Cuervos Azulgranas booed when Chelco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Marino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Julian Hulberto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saverio Fidele but with some difficulty. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chelco FC fully deserved thier win.
