In the game's 18th minute ManagerZone Academy's Steve Hyuga took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Rodolfo Calvet and thus the score was 2-0. Rodolfo Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Ricart in the 21st minute of the match. ManagerZone Academy's Paolo Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kermit Froggaard in the 23rd minute of play. Paolo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Gambier, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia de Campeones's goalkeeper Rodolfo Calvet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauro Che kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Natalio Jacob hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Amancio Ricart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Calvet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The corner led to Academia de Campeones's Kermit Froggaard getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Rodolfo Calvet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabino Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ángel Gambier came free, but Paolo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Academia de Campeones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Havertz to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Miguel Ángel Gambier made the kick off in the second half.
