Walmir Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesús Martín who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Walmir Catarinense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sergey Nikiforenko did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Walmir Catarinense 22 minutes into the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Rene Aires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Felipe Liher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Loco De Remate's Amado Nisio got a free kick in the 30th minute. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Conrad Moore with Damian Laurentzi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 36th minute, Rene Aires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrad Moore hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atilla Bumin Hızlan was the one to do the kick off. Walmir Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergey Nikiforenko in the 54th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Luix's late challenge caught a Defensores del Tiki Tiki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Luix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute Sergey Nikiforenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Bumin Hızlan in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hıdır Namal got free with Felipe Liher in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walmir Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesús Martín, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Aires in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Liher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Nordström in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
