An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Belmonte in the 13th minute of play forced Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Adrian Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Belmonte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pucará fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Pucará's Dario Artizar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute of the match, Leo Azevedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lautaro Morales saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The wind increased when Dario Artizar made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Anjullan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Morales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Matthew's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Tomás Belmonte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Gilesindo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The Pucará fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Morales should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Pucará left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Anjullan AFC.
