If Lino Che had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Godfredo Fero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Gonzales was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Che was the one to do the kick off.
