The audience was convinced that Lisandro Nuñez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Gonzales was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Rafael Tiniebra got a free kick in the 14th minute. Dario Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Lisandro Nuñez made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Gonzales. GrondofiSu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Lv Ang Jing came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SAN LORENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lv Ang Jing couldn't finish the play. GrondofiSu FC's Isidoro Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 22nd minute of play. Lisandro Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Gonzales having to interfere. Gerardo Florin scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Astigar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Che in the 29th minute of the match. Lisandro Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Isidoro Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lv Ang Jing to maneuver through the defense. Benito Abella lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Isidoro Gonzales went to the wrong direction when Lv Tian Yuan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Che to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GrondofiSu FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Miguel Berbiz hit a great ball. Lisandro Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Isidoro Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Nuñez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Isidoro Gonzales skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Gonzales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute of the match SAN LORENZO FC got a corner. GrondofiSu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Allan Blom ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Allan Blom got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isidoro Gonzales quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 68 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Lv Ang Jing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Gonzales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Ciriaco Cordarrell replaced Lisandro Nuñez. In the 72nd minute of the match SAN LORENZO FC got a corner. GrondofiSu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Shao Zhen Xiao ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Lv Ang Jing got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 72 minutes into the match. SAN LORENZO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Shao Zhen Xiao in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Ştefănucă came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Gonzales having to interfere. Isidoro Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over SAN LORENZO FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GrondofiSu FC throughout the match.
