Bülent Ruge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Silverio Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Jacob got free with Basilio Sauveur in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silverio Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Basilio Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Camilo Sexto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mevlüt Vurgun in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Sauveur saved Don Malbec from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Don Malbec got a freekick which was hit by Black Black. The audience was convinced that Bülent Ruge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Sauveur was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Valentin Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Lasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Silverio Jacob dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basilio Sauveur, 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silverio Jacob made a kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Camilo Sexto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Don Malbec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Sexto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes in the game, Silverio Jacob dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Basilio Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Jacob in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Silverio Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Franja Dorada players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
