The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marco Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sébastien Frey having to interfere. Sébastien Frey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Federigo in the 5th minute. Tomás Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Cordarin in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Tomás Cordarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Jerold was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Inocencio Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TORQUE F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Lastur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Tomás Cordarin made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Jerold. QUASAR AZULGRANA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the QUASAR AZULGRANA defense, Tomás Cordarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Jerold. The QUASAR AZULGRANA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Jerold should have stopped the shot. Virgilio Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TORQUE F.C. were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after QUASAR AZULGRANA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ermegildo Errolan took the corner. After some careless play in the QUASAR AZULGRANA defense, Inocencio Lastur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Jerold. The QUASAR AZULGRANA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Jerold should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd match minute, TORQUE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Lastur to maneuver through the defense. Sébastien Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Federigo in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, TORQUE F.C.'s Tomás Cordarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Jerold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by QUASAR AZULGRANA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ermegildo Errolan was slow to take the kick. During this time TORQUE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Virgilio Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Humberto Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half TORQUE F.C. were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Cordarin made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Cordarin came free, but Virgilio Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Virgilio Jerold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Cordarin in the 51st minute of play. TORQUE F.C.'s Tomás Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Jerold having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Cordarin in the 63rd minute of play forced QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Virgilio Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. QUASAR AZULGRANA made a substitution. Anier Gaspard replaced Marco Federigo. In the 68thth minute of the game Tomás Cordarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but QUASAR AZULGRANA's Virgilio Jerold was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sébastien Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in QUASAR AZULGRANA's zone, Tomás Cordarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Jerold came out of the goal and Tomás Cordarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TORQUE F.C. made a substitution. Dave Mancinelli replaced 石皓洲. With his leg Virgilio Jerold managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when TORQUE F.C.'s Dave Mancinelli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dave Mancinelli in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Jerold, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 82 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Virgilio Jerold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Maties. In the 86th minute, Dominik Klawki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TORQUE F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 90th minute, Anier Gaspard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sébastien Frey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as TORQUE F.C.'s Dave Mancinelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Jerold. That made the score 1-7 after 94 minutes of play.
