An unexpectedly hard shot by Andriy Shevchenko in the 10th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Bruno Sauveur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Lombroso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gianluca Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Derksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A hard shot 19 in the game by Uriel Ferrer from a close distance when the talented CJ 曾诚 managed to make a qualified save. Ullún's players were relieved. After 20 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Federico Pirro. Federico Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ullún:s CJ 曾诚 showed great skill when he stopped Bruno Sauveur:s penalty. Bruno Sauveur took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised CJ 曾诚. CJ 曾诚 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 31st minute Andriy Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes, Andriy Shevchenko made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Defensores de Lombroso's Gianluca Buffon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes of play, Ullún's Olof Derksen made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gianluca Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ullún's Sukma Adriansyah was substituted for Carlos Solari. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olof Derksen made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. CJ 曾诚 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Gelacio in the 64th minute of the match. Uriel Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the game, Defensores de Lombroso's Lionel-Andrés Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. CJ 曾诚 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Valentín Barco replaced Federico Pirro. Andriy Shevchenko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Gianluca Buffon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ullún's CJ 曾诚 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Gelacio in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Defensores de Lombroso were awarded a corner. Bruno Sauveur went to the cornerflag to take it. Bruno Sauveur made a great header on Defensores de Lombroso's corner, it was just that Ullún's CJ 曾诚 managed to reach the ball for a save. CJ 曾诚 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lawrence Casa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Bruno Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence Casa. Sukma Adriansyah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ullún supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ullún would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
