After a defensive mix-up in QUASAR AZULGRANA's zone, Anacleto Libertad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Jerold came out of the goal and Anacleto Libertad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Federigo in the 24th minute of play forced Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Rodrigo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Guacho Pistola were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after QUASAR AZULGRANA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladan Leszczynski took the corner. After taking down the ball on Los Guacho Pistola's corner Vladan Leszczynski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Virgilio Jerold quite easily take care of the ball. Theocharis Vrachos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Virgilio Jerold made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Marco Federigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Toribio was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Humberto Gartxot made the kick off in the second half. Virgilio Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Marco Federigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Toribio was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Virgilio Jerold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theocharis Vrachos's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, Anacleto Libertad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Guacho Pistola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Humberto Gartxot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Guacho Pistola's Rodrigo Toribio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabio Cannavaro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Guacho Pistola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Rodrigo Toribio, was totally fooled by QUASAR AZULGRANA's Anier Gaspard, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in QUASAR AZULGRANA's zone, Theocharis Vrachos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Jerold came out of the goal and Theocharis Vrachos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anier Gaspard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Toribio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the QUASAR AZULGRANA defense, Victor Evis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Jerold. The QUASAR AZULGRANA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Jerold should have stopped the shot. Los Guacho Pistola walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
