Luís Fábio Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of C.A Vientos Huracanados booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A Vientos Huracanados's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Luís Fábio Rocha scored to the left of an out of position Paolo Ubarna, making the score, 1-0. Paolo Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 22nd minute of the match. When Marcos Rioja fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A Vientos Huracanados's protests and gave Marcos Rioja a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes C.A Vientos Huracanados got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Rioja. If Luís Fábio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the C.A Vientos Huracanados defense, Luís Fábio Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Ubarna. The C.A Vientos Huracanados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Ubarna should have stopped the shot. Paolo Ubarna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a corner. C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Demy Ottens ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Demy Ottens got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paolo Ubarna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Hijos de Doña Beija fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave C.A Vientos Huracanados a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jose Asier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fábio Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paolo Ubarna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Argi Casta got a free kick in the 54th minute. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Indiana Jones replaced Ciro Osasun. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Timoteo Gartxot was substituted for Luís Fábio Rocha. Marcos Rioja made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Kálmán Balogh. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Gartxot in the 59th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Paolo Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Timoteo Gartxot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Ubarna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 64 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Timoteo Gartxot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Ubarna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Timoteo Gartxot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. 85 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Timoteo Gartxot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Ubarna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Feliciano Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Haritzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Ubarna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Dolfos made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Silvio Odilon. 89 minutes into the game, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Timoteo Gartxot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Ubarna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. When Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Timoteo Gartxot in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Hijos de Doña Beija had played much better football throughout.
