Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史铮坤, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilulea FC were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Yala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 史铮坤 took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by 史铮坤 in the 19th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ilulea FC's 史铮坤 in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yala's goalie prevented a goal. Yala were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Ilulea FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcial Lore took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Marcial Lore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabby Arias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Yala's Freddy Valentine got a free kick in the 28th minute. Carolo Bizen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gabby Arias made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Arnaud Konieczny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute 史铮坤 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gabby Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabby Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Valentine in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute 史铮坤 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Ilulea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Ilulea FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Yala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Curcio should have stopped the shot. Yala's Zeledon Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by 史铮坤 in the 71st minute. The supporters of Yala booed when Ilulea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Sein didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes Yala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 史铮坤 who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Viktor Häger got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 75 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ilulea FC's 史铮坤 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeledon Curcio. That made the score 0-4 after 79 minutes of play. Generoso Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gabby Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Ilulea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Tanner to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Ilulea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Pinto came free, but Gabby Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilulea FC played a much better game than Yala and deserved their victory. The Yala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
