An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Springfält in the 7th minute of play forced Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Imperio Cordobés FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Imperio Cordobés FC's Isaias Fonda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Isaias Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16thth minute of the game Isaias Fonda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Isaias Fonda made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Bäckström. Basavilbaso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 31st minute Ruben Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orvar Bäckström was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Isaias Fonda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaias Fonda really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Orvar Bäckström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the last second Orvar Bäckström throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sabino Brites in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Sabino Brites took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Orvar Bäckström to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Imperio Cordobés FC's Isaias Fonda got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Rubio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Imperio Cordobés FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Duarte. Inocencio Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Imperio Cordobés FC defense, Clemente Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tales Falcão. The Imperio Cordobés FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Falcão should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão got control of the ball when Clemente Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute David Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Sabino Brites put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Orvar Bäckström. In the 86th minute Henric Springfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Imperio Cordobés FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Brites in the 92nd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Rubio. Basavilbaso FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
