After a rather tough play, Motu's Anastasio Garaona got a free kick in the 17th minute. Uriel Lleir might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Idacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Imperiale got free with Łukasz Fabiański in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Uriel Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Orti. The supporters of ⚡El XeNeiZe de BiGaNd⚡ booed when Motu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Bartolo Idacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Motu made a substitution. Hipolito Osmundo replaced Uriel Lleir. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Osmundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Motu's zone, Carlos Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Łukasz Fabiański came out of the goal and Carlos Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hipolito Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, ⚡El XeNeiZe de BiGaNd⚡'s Bartolo Idacio got control of the ball when Hipolito Osmundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Arnulfo Imperiale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Łukasz Fabiański made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo-Erik Larsson in the 62nd minute of play. Hipolito Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bartolo Idacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Orti. After some careless play in the Motu defense, Carlos Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. The Motu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Łukasz Fabiański should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Angelino Montrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Motu's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Herrera came free, but Łukasz Fabiański reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. ⚡El XeNeiZe de BiGaNd⚡ made a substitution. Fidel Sesuldo replaced Carlos Herrera.
