With his leg Jaime Manny managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Club Deportivo Español's Petrică Bărbulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th match minute, Error 404 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Lucian to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Error 404's Jaime Manny got control of the ball when Kris Chamberlain tried to sneak it across the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wincenty Cwojdak made a great header on Error 404's corner, it was just that Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha managed to reach the ball for a save.
