Error 404's Jaime Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match, Zosimo Vadillo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jaime Manny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11th minute, one of Error 404:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Error 404. Jaime Manny had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Gustavo Birila's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Error 404's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Birila was slow to take the kick. During this time Papillon AC's players had a chance to rest. Jaime Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medero Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Birila in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jaime Manny, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zosimo Vadillo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Manny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Manny made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Medero Medina sent off a good shot on target. Jaime Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Birila in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zosimo Vadillo got free with Jaime Manny in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Error 404 booed when Papillon AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Escobar to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Gustavo Birila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jaime Manny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the match, Error 404's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Birila came free, but Jaime Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Van Damme came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Error 404's Pablo Escobar. But to his dismay, Pablo Escobar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jaime Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jaime Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 73rd minute of play. Benjamin Myhr hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Benedicto Pacho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaime Manny. Error 404's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medero Medina in the 78th minute of play forced Error 404's goalkeeper Jaime Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Escobar in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Van Damme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean Van Damme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wincenty Cwojdak in the 84th minute. The Error 404 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Error 404 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
