Ñacuñán AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Guib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Nuxila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Lipp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Manex in the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Santos Cayo could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Teodosio Nuxila however easily saved by the left post. Raul Lipp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Manex in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Ñacuñán AC's goal looked a bit too open when Folkert Engelaar came free, but Raul Lipp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ñacuñán AC's Raul Lipp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Araoz in the 33rd minute of play. The coaching staff of Ñacuñán AC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elpidio Presebal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Manex was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Manex in the 64th minute of play forced Ñacuñán AC's goalkeeper Raul Lipp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Nuxila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Ralondo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ñacuñán AC's Raul Lipp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Ñacuñán AC from getting a goal against them. The Ñacuñán AC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
