Lázaro Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Klačko in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to La MaKina del Parque getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Atay Sayılgan hit a great ball. When Enrique Frasco fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juniors FC's protests and gave Enrique Frasco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Enrique Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julius Klačko made a kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind La MaKina del Parque's goalkeeper Görkem Tokdemir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Görkem Tokdemir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Frasco in the 59th minute. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juniors FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atay Sayılgan was slow to take the kick. During this time La MaKina del Parque's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on La MaKina del Parque's corner Atay Sayılgan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lázaro Colon quite easily take care of the ball. Julius Klačko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Julius Klačko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Klačko in the 74th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Klačko came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Furman in the 85th minute of play forced La MaKina del Parque's goalkeeper Görkem Tokdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute of the match, Prospero Furman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Görkem Tokdemir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, La MaKina del Parque's Mariano Walme got a free kick in the 89th minute. Juniors FC's Wlodzimierz Lepper got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. La MaKina del Parque's Görkem Tokdemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Furman in the 91st minute of play. Despite being the better team, Juniors FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
