The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Lucero during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Herrier got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Lucero. With his leg Görkem Tokdemir managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Herrier's Ernesto Mateus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th match minute, Herrier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Endira to maneuver through the defense. Julius Klačko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Izotz having to interfere. After 29 minutes Herrier's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atay Sayılgan who took care of the corner kick. Justo Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Klačko in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, La MaKina del Parque's goalkeeper Görkem Tokdemir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Mateus. Justo Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Klačko in the 35th minute of the match. Mateo Fagildo made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marciano Barrionuevo immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, La MaKina del Parque's Görkem Tokdemir got control of the ball when Ernesto Mateus tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Estevon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Görkem Tokdemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Endira in the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Julius Klačko managed to get in a good position for a shot. La MaKina del Parque's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Klačko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Izotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Julius Klačko took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Justo Izotz to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute Julius Klačko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La MaKina del Parque's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atay Sayılgan in the 71st minute. Justo Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Klačko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Izotz was a little too slow when Julius Klačko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Justo Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Klačko in the 86th minute of play. Gustavo Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Görkem Tokdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Herrier manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing La MaKina del Parque to win.
