The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Mingo to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Van Der Taelen in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Gabríel Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Chubut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabríel Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernand Redondo made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by San Ciro Utd's Ionuț Corbu. 79 minutes into the match, San Ciro Utd's goalkeeper Epifanio Beila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Mingo. Aaron Anselmino made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aldo Mikolas immediately put the ball in play. San Ciro Utd's Epifanio Beila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save San Ciro Utd from getting a goal against them. After 85 minutes of play, San Ciro Utd's Marco Van Der Taelen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Vassenius was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes in the game Aaron Anselmino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gabríel Batistuta.
