The Inter Miami CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monte Hermoso Beach were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Montrel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teo Pacorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathis Arlot in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo Pacorro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Miami CF from getting a goal against them. Benito Cala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Everardo Enmanuel hit a great ball. Inter Miami CF were furious when Honorato Joanes was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 69th minute, Viktor Petrus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Muc came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match Inter Miami CF got a corner. Monte Hermoso Beach's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo Iago ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hector Montrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo Pacorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Montrel in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Hector Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Monte Hermoso Beach supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monte Hermoso Beach would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
