Zé Paulo Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Cordeiro in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Goito in the 14th minute of play forced Sutura's goalkeeper Rolando Sanchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Paublo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Mendes saved New Pi from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Goito got free with Rolando Sanchez in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. New Pi's Fabio Frisco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Damian Prejun in the 23 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Cordeiro during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelo Goito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Rolando Sanchez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelo Goito scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Sanchez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Goito in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Sanchez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Marcelo Goito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Oakley in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Sutura booed when New Pi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Papadopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Paublo to make the kick off. Marcelo Goito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cayetano Cordeiro took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Sanchez. Rolando Sanchez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 83rd minute, Stamatis Papadopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 傅政克 in the 85th minute of play. Rolando Sanchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save New Pi from getting a goal against them. Bartolo Paublo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Mendes made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Damian Prejun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
