Rolando Sanchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, one of Perros del sur:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Perros del sur. The referee gave Sutura a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Efrain Fagondo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Perros del sur's Miguel Orlondon. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Sutura's Efrain Fagondo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Miguel Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Paublo in the 23rd minute of the match. Sutura's Bartolo Paublo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Chesus struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Rolando Sanchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perros del sur. The corner led to Perros del sur's Jose Eriz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 50th minute Perros del sur were awarded a corner. Teodosio Goren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Teodosio Goren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sutura's Rolando Sanchez did a great save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Viator to strike the kick off in the second half. Perros del sur's Miguel Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Paublo in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes Perros del sur's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bartolo Paublo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Abel Gonza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Orlondon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Perros del sur's Miguel Orlondon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Perros del sur from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Paublo got free with Miguel Orlondon in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sutura's Ryan Peterson got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 75 minutes of play, Sutura's Agustin Elorri made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Orlondon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agustin Elorri came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miguel Orlondon could save by the left post. Miguel Orlondon made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Bartolo Paublo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Sutura getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Claudio Paris hit a great ball. Sutura's Rolando Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Goren in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Sutura got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Fagondo. Bartolo Paublo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Orlondon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolo Paublo ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Sutura's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Mandzukic came free, but Rolando Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Elorri got free with Miguel Orlondon in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Sutura left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Perros del sur.
