Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Marcelo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Meulman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's attentive Luiz Bizet managed to snatch the ball when Israel Rosio made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Pranas Užkuraitis made the kick off in the second half.
