When Cem Yılğıralp fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvoha FC's protests and gave Cem Yılğıralp a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alvoha FC's Cem Yılğıralp got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Alvoha FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Mo Yi Sang scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Eufrasio, making the score, 1-0. Matias Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Epifanio Beremundo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Biancone in the 52nd minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alvoha FC's zone, Mo Yi Sang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Eufrasio came out of the goal and Mo Yi Sang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mo Yi Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvoha FC made a substitution. Ladislao Aragones replaced Epifanio Beremundo. San Lorenzo's Ke Lin Mo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Chaime, made in the 64th minute of the game. Alvise Biancone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Matias Carlomagno made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Aragones came free, but Matias Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Alvoha FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Chaime. Christian Chaime hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Rosendo Eufrasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kara Melo in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvise Biancone got free with Matias Carlomagno in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Estebano charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Estebano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fausto Estebano hit a great ball. San Lorenzo's Fausto Estebano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodrigo Santos in the 82 minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Aragones. San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Lorenzo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
