In the 10th minute Pavel Balc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragomir Marchovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Phelipe in the 11th minute of the match. Stone City's supporters rose to their feet, but Mai Yi Xu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Pacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when 孟鹰泉 made the kick off in the second half. Stone City were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Cha Fe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Rufio took the corner. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cha Fe FC made a substitution. Santiago Mikelar replaced Teobaldo Phelipe. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cha Fe FC's goalie and right to Simon Tomasson. Cha Fe FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Stone City's Cristián Ronaldo was substituted for Chu Wen Le. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Matthäus in the 72nd minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
