Lisandro López could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Zarco Figueira made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Fabricio Errapel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Abel Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Dominguez in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Estavan in the 25th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Estavan came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cristofor came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro López to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Peñaloza's Aquiles Xabat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Neron. That made the score 1-4 after 54 minutes of play. Abel Neron made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Federico Estavan sent off a good shot on target. When Aquiles Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Peñaloza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Xabat couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Venancio Chaime replaced Isaac Dayam. 69 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Hulberto came free, but Zarco Figueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Anibal Gaitan could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-5 into the left cross. Aquiles Xabat had several of the Deportivo Balvanera's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Abel Neron as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lorenzo Berto charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Zarco Figueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Aquiles Xabat notched a goal, 2-8, to the right of Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron. Abel Neron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Deportivo Balvanera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peñaloza were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
