Kiev FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Deportivo Balvanera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonio Mutafchiev took the corner. After taking down the ball on Kiev FC's corner Ladislao Batista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cayetano Behe quite easily take care of the ball. When Candido Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Balvanera's protests and gave Candido Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. Candido Jakes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cayetano Behe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Iturri in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peng Xu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Taurino in the 42nd minute of play. Cayetano Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Adolfo Poz got a free kick in the 55th minute. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Iturri in the 57th minute of play. Lisandro López received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peng Xu came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro López slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. Kiev FC made a substitution. Wanderson Meirelles replaced C.J. 刘备. Kiev FC's Angelino Abeita was substituted for Aristides Peli. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Venancio Chaime replaced Florencio Oxarra. Fabricio Errapel kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Kiev FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Gartxot. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Anselmo Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiev FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Iturri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Behe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Kiev FC booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peng Xu having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Candido Jakes. Cayetano Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kiev FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Anacleto Guter hit a great ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiev FC's goalkeeper Peng Xu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
