Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) La Bichineta's Hauk Hareide started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Gabriele Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Dorival de Azevedo got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Gabriele Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menchu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Castel to maneuver through the defense. Hauk Hareide might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Salvidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hauk Hareide ran back to his position shaking his head. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hauk Hareide in the 17th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival de Azevedo in the 22nd minute of play. Caetano Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Gabriele Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hauk Hareide in the 32nd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hauk Hareide in the 32nd minute of play. Silvestre Peli came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabriele Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hauk Hareide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauk Hareide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to La Bichineta getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Arnaldo Pirmin hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Gabriele Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. La Bichineta's Hauk Hareide got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toto Ferdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Bichineta made a substitution. Vennard Rojak replaced Dorival de Azevedo. La Bichineta made a substitution. Carolo Abancens replaced Hauk Hareide. Toto Ferdi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Campelo in the 69th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Abdoulay Doucouré got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvestre Peli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Toto Ferdi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vennard Rojak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Campelo in the 79th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Säv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Inge in the 92nd minute of play. Pål Säv kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Vennard Rojak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menchu FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Bichineta for a fine match.
