In the 39th match minute, La Acade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Lamczyk to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gabriele Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. Leonard Lamczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Salvidor having to interfere. In the 56th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Felipe Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Acade's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Salvidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Menchu FC made a substitution. Mauricio Dodorol replaced Tomas Cordaryal. The audience was convinced that Gabriele Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Aritza was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Leonard Lamczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Camilo Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Menchu FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
