Lawrence Lawless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaafar Carrillo in the 24th minute of play. Ruperto Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Baraquiel in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lawrence Lawless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Platense's Teodoro Honrio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primeiro Imperiale, made in the 34th minute of the game. Ruperto Rainerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Baraquiel in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Gaafar Carrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Lawless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lawrence Lawless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Hussain in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dario Hussain made the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Rainerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Baraquiel went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Leon Platense's Gonzalo Adrio was substituted for Teodoro Honrio. After 62 minutes Leon Platense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Plaski who took care of the corner kick. Descamisados CF made a substitution. Celestino Artaldo replaced Anselmo Thomas. Descamisados CF made a substitution. Ludomir Kaider replaced Primeiro Imperiale. Ludomir Kaider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Descamisados CF's Adrian Txartiko in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leon Platense's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Ludomir Kaider's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Rainerio was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After having played for 79 minutes, Celestino Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Descamisados CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Artaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Eutropio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Txartiko came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Klaas Alberts got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ruperto Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Artaldo in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, João Francisco Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Artaldo in the 96th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
