Remigio Salomone's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Salomone helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Putin Club - OFF's Remigio Salomone got a free kick in the 7th minute. Severo Roderigo made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Flavio Laurgain sent off a good shot on target. Chiquito Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Enekoitz in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Albano Bertol shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severo Roderigo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Putin Club - OFF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Napoleon Dropinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Independiente's players had a chance to rest. Independiente's Napoleon Dropinski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Severo Roderigo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 18 minutes into the game, Independiente's Jorg Pieters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Roderigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jorg Pieters hit a great ball. Independiente's Chiquito Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Indar in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Benjy Benton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severo Roderigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Albano Bertol struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Severo Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. After 32 minutes of play, Independiente's Emanuel Emander made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Roderigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Indar in the 35th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Chiquito Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Putin Club - OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Benjy Benton came free, but Severo Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Independiente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Napoleon Dropinski in the 39th minute. Napoleon Dropinski made a great header on Independiente's corner, it was just that Putin Club - OFF's Severo Roderigo managed to reach the ball for a save. When Reynaldo Enekoitz fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Putin Club - OFF's protests and gave Reynaldo Enekoitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Putin Club - OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorg Pieters in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severo Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Laurgain in the 56th minute of play. Angelo Indar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Chiquito Martinez made a huge save. Severo Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorg Pieters in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Independiente got a corner. Putin Club - OFF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Napoleon Dropinski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Independiente's Napoleon Dropinski to fire away a dangerous shot which Severo Roderigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Severo Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjy Benton in the 63rd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Benjy Benton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Severo Roderigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th match minute, Putin Club - OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Indar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Putin Club - OFF's Lin Ning Wei got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Benjy Benton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Laurgain, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Severo Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjy Benton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Laurgain in the 80th minute of play forced Putin Club - OFF's goalkeeper Severo Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Severo Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Laurgain in the 88th minute of play. Severo Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 93 minutes, Steffen Hemelaers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putin Club - OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Hemelaers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Independiente players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
