In the 24th minute, 楚政潮 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Los Hornos booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Poncio hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Froilan Jacob successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, Marcu Şuteu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Dário Prada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Froilan Jacob. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Froilan Jacob had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Prada. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Prada in the 57th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Froilan Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's Dário Prada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froilan Jacob narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Dário Prada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hornos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 62nd match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Poncio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Dário Prada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Jacob was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Prada in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Jacob saved Formentera from getting behind. Froilan Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Dário Prada notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Formentera's Froilan Jacob. Froilan Jacob was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Hornos made a substitution. Gene Simmons replaced Mustafa Erhard. Gerardo Joseph hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Gene Simmons got a free kick in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Formentera players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Hornos.
