After 7 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Staff. In the 8th minute of the match Ronaldo Pika sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silas de Andrade skillfully saved the ball. Silas de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Luzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to TALLERES DE CBA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Josué Braga hit a great ball. Jon Yost kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Ronaldo Pika shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silas de Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucio Afonso made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Dário Prada sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Los Hornos were awarded a corner. Justino Amato went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Gerardo Joseph managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lucio Afonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dário Prada in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Bernard in the 25th minute of play forced Los Hornos's goalkeeper Silas de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Prada in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucio Afonso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 32 minutes into the match, TALLERES DE CBA's goalkeeper Lucio Afonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Prada. After a defensive mix-up in TALLERES DE CBA's zone, Dário Prada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Afonso came out of the goal and Dário Prada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dário Prada to strike the kick off in the second half. Dário Prada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Prada in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of TALLERES DE CBA booed when Los Hornos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Staff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Silas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Pika in the 60th minute of play. Silas de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Bernard in the 61st minute of the match. Los Hornos's Gene Simmons was substituted for Mustafa Erhard. Lucio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gene Simmons in the 78th minute of play. Ronaldo Pika's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Silas de Andrade skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dário Prada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Afonso having to make a save. Lucio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Bernard in the 89th minute of play forced Los Hornos's goalkeeper Silas de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silas de Andrade was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Bernard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. Los Hornos made a substitution. Oodo Rosin replaced Ghitã Butuc. TALLERES DE CBA played a much better game than Los Hornos and deserved their victory. The Los Hornos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
