The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Estevon came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Granate's Christos Triantafyllou in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angua FC's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the game, Angua FC's Calixto Landoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Palmquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonathan Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Luisito Estevon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ladislao Osasun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ladislao Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Triantafyllou in the 16th minute of play. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leukothoe Sakelaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Triantafyllou might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Osasun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Triantafyllou ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calixto Landoff received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Palmquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Calixto Landoff slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calixto Landoff got free with Jonathan Palmquist in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Braulio Lopes notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Granate's Jonathan Palmquist. Jonathan Palmquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Granate from getting a goal against them. Francisco Bidari hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Luisito Estevon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. Angua FC made a substitution. Roberto Puch replaced Calixto Landoff. Granate's Eriberto Olando was substituted for Jonatan Adrio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Jonathan Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Lopes in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Angua FC's Francisco Bidari seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Francisco Bidari the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Angua FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Francisco Bidari had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Angua FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Jonathan Palmquist came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Angua FC's Roberto Puch. But to his dismay, Roberto Puch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 63 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Triantafyllou came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Puch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Palmquist having to interfere. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Triantafyllou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Granate's attack was well implemented in the 67th minute, but when Christos Triantafyllou was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 68 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Triantafyllou came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Puch came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Braulio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Puch in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Angua FC's Roberto Puch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Angua FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Granate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
