In the 23rdth minute of the game Miguel Rojelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. MILO's Bonifacio Roca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, C.A. MILO's Bonifacio Roca got control of the ball when Sergio Cordareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stefan Orlicki came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. MILO's Samuel Valgma. But to his dismay, Samuel Valgma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stefan Orlicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Alfonso in the 30th minute of the match. Bonifacio Roca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Aparecido in the 33rd minute of play. Justo Lore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Bonifacio Roca made a huge save. Cesar Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Eusebio Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Sergio Cordareo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bonifacio Roca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwyn Lawson to make the kick off. Tigre's Stefan Orlicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Alfonso in the 53rd minute of play. Stefan Orlicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Pereyra's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Strahil Sapundzhiev was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Roca had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Justo Lore's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 60th minute, Justo Lore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Ronaldo Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Alfonso in the 67th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Stefan Orlicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
