Maurinho Terra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 18th minute CA Trapito were awarded a corner. Nejat Alp Köker went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 20th minute Tristan Sama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Cidro got free with Teofilo Faro in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horacio Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilo Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Maurinho Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huib Haar in the 26th minute of the match. Maurinho Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Goizeder in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Astudillo in the 45th minute of play forced Alejandra's goalkeeper Maurinho Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alejandra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nejat Alp Köker was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Trapito's players had a chance to rest.
