Ismael Kauldi started the match with the kick off. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonhão Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tonhão Basso scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Lastur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Sustrai came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonhão Basso in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute Martin Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, EL CORTO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Peyo came free, but Nicolas Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Asier to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Lastur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tonhão Basso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half EL CORTO FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Asier was the one to do the kick off. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonhão Basso in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Kauldi got free with Leopoldo Lastur in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Tonhão Basso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tonhão Basso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 61st minute, Tonhão Basso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Lastur. The goal made the score 0-4. 76 minutes into the game, Ismael Kauldi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Leopoldo Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leopoldo Lastur made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Feliberto Sustrai sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Gaspar Sabin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. Tonhão Basso struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Leopoldo Lastur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL CORTO FC. 95 minutes into the game, EL CORTO FC's Tonhão Basso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Lastur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6.
